Gate 10, one of the entrances to Leominster State Forest, is located on Westminster Road, near the town of Westminster. From Gate 10, visitors can access several trails that lead to scenic views, historic sites, and natural features. Some of the attractions near Gate 10 include Crow Hill Pond, Rocky Pond, and the Midstate Trail.

Leominster State Forest covers 4,246 acres in the towns of Leominster, Fitchburg, Princeton, Sterling, and Westminster. The forest offers trails for hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing, as well as rock climbing and fishing opportunities. One of the main attractions is the Midstate Trail, a 95-mile long-distance trail that passes through the forest. Another is Crow Hill Pond, a scenic spot for swimming and picnicking. Leominster State Forest is easily accessible from MA-2 (exit 28) and is open year-round for visitors to enjoy the natural beauty and recreation options.
