Hathaways Pond (MassachusettsPaddler) webpageHathaway Pond is a small natural kettle hole pond. The shoreline is undeveloped with the exception of a town beach. This pond is also known as North Hathaway Pond; South Hathaways Pond is a very shallow warm water pond.
There is limited parking for this medium-sized beach with a playground, swing set, and barbecue grills. This beach is shady with a roped-off swim area and calm water. There is an attendant on duty with no lifeguards after mid-August. A town sticker is required for parking.
A visit to Hathaway’s Pond makes for a great day for beachgoers. This pond offers a good-sized beach, restrooms, picnic tables, shade, sun, a playground, and grills for barbecues.
Hathaway’s Pond Trail is a short loop around the small pond this conservation area is named for. It comprises a 1.25-mile trail circling the small body of water resting in 94 acres of town-protected land.
The AllTrails website has a description and map of a hike at Hathaways Pond.
