172 acre state park adjacent to Union Grove Wildlife Area WA). 110 Acre lake surrounded by woods with evergreen plants on the north end.
From the town of Gladbrook go 4 miles SOUTH on T47 and turn right (WEST) 1/2 mile to the park. Nice road around the lake. A small lake which is part of Union Grove WA is SW of the State Park area. Woods (NW corner), spillway (SE part of park), and lake. Can be good for ducks, geese, swans, grebes, and woodland birds. Sandhill Cranes have been seen here. This is a public hunting area.
