Official WebsiteThe Davis Stream Preserve is located in the heart of Jefferson and provides popular walking trails close to the Jefferson Village School. A half-mile interpretive trail winds its way along the stream bank, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the variety of ecosystems found in the floodplain and upland forests. The Preserve also protects the shoreline on Davis Stream, making for an incredibly wild paddling experience just a few minutes from the Damariscotta Lake State Park. Visitors are welcome to walk the trail at any time.
From the south, turn north onto ME-126 (Washington Road) in Jefferson. Drive for 0.3 miles, then turn right into the Willow Grange parking area. Park at the Grange and walk north on the road to the Cemetery, and follow the road on the left side of the Cemetery into the woods to the trailhead.
