Moose Pond covers an area of about 77 acres and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. The pond is a popular destination for kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife viewing. Moose Pond is accessible via Moose Pond Road, a dirt road that branches off from US-3, about 10 miles north of the village of Pittsburg.
