You can bird from the road but it is best to pull over and walk an area, then drive down and walk another area, and so forth. Or just walk the entire length. It is about 0.5 miles long.

Mangas Creek Road runs parallel to US-180 and can be accessed from either end. It is about 17.5 miles from Silver City. It is a dirt road with space to pull over.
