Ventana Inn is a luxury resort and restaurant which has undergone various iterations over the decades. There are wonderful views of the ocean and Santa Lucia Mountains here, but the prices for a stay are exceedingly expensive. Nonetheless, birders have recorded the usual assortment of Big Sur birds during visits, paid or invited, and one might be lucky and see a California Condor overhead.
