walk trails on both sides of Las Moras Creek; on wet years that area near the pond may be particularly good; check Mulberry Trees when fruiting for Orioles & Tanagers

West side of Las Moras Creeks is mowed and grassy under large Oak and Pecan Trees; east side of creek is brushy with Pecans and Oaks. Except in drought years, Las Moras Creek is a clear, flowing stream that empties into a shallow lake of about 4-5 acres. "Restricted Access" means that visitors (non-Fort Clark Members) must check in at Fort Clark Entrance and say "I want to go birding" and get a pass.
trails on east side of creek are accessible from the Golf Clubhouse or from the Red Bridge itself (bridge that allows vehicle access to WTP)
