Tips for Birding

This can be best after a good rain. Water will be flowing down from Sawtooth Mountain. During dry times can be okay for high elevation species. Rocks are great for Rufous-crowned Sparrow, Rock Wren, Cactus Wren.

About this Location

This is on the far west side of the Davis Mountains Scenic Loop. There is very little traffic and the highest point on the loop at 6200 feet.
