Duck Harbor is the only Wellfleet Bay Beach that isn’t located on Wellfleet Harbor. Calm, warm waters, a beautiful view, and gentle dunes. Big beach, but looks like could be really small at high tide. Medium parking, no attendant. Some smaller waves. Very rocky. Great view of Provincetown. Not very crowded. Plenty of room. Stiff sand.
Duck Harbor Beach is a large plot of firm sand with a great view of nearby Provincetown. Duck Harbor Beach has the feeling of being nearly at the end of the world. Its shores are on the warm waters of Cape Cod Bay, and there’s plenty of room to wander and find your own private space. Its rocky sands tend to be covered at high tide, significantly lessening the size of the beach. Calm waters make it a great beach for family swimming.
