This hotspot is for the length of Pfannsteil Lane from Farm-to-Market 78 to Arizpe Road. It is best birded from your vehicle. Be sure to use flashers if you stop to look at something and pull off as far as possible without going into the ditch. The road is not heavily traveled, but large farm equipment is around and sometimes folks will speed on the road thinking they are the only ones there. 

The farm fields and brush on both sides of the road can be good birding, and there is a small private pond that can be seen from the road. There used to be a nesting Red-tailed Hawk in one of the fields, but not sure if it is still there. 

Some interesting ducks can show up in the small pond in the winter, and have seen uncommon birds like Yellow-headed Blackbird in the fields. Worth a look at any time of the year. 

No trails. Birding from vehicle only
