The cemetery contains the graves of many notable figures from Plymouth's history, such as the Pilgrim leaders William Bradford and Edward Winslow, the Revolutionary War hero James Warren, and the abolitionist Maria Weston Chapman. Vine Hills Cemetery is also known for its scenic views and diverse flora and fauna. The cemetery is open to the public and offers guided tours and educational programs.
