Back Lake is spring-fed and has a rocky bottom, with a surface area of 348 acres and a maximum depth of 17 feet. The lake has several lodges and cabins for rent, some with private lake access and beautiful views. 

Back Lake is adjacent to US-3. There is shoreline access to the lake and a canoe launch, both on US-3.
