Carver Hill is a historic site where the first settlers of the town built their homes and farms. The hill overlooks the Brookside Cemetery, which dates back to the 18th century and contains the graves of many prominent citizens of Stow. The cemetery is also the final resting place of some Revolutionary War soldiers and veterans. Carver Hill and Brookside Cemetery are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The entrance to Brookside Cemetery on Carver Hill is from Gleasondale Road (MA-62).
