Job Swamp is a wetland area located in West Newbury. It covers about 200 acres. The swamp is named after Job Tyler, one of the first settlers of the town, who owned the land in the 17th century. Job Swamp is part of the Parker River watershed and provides important ecological functions, such as flood control, water quality improvement, and habitat protection.
The Job Swamp conservation property is owned by the Town of West Newbury. It is 13 acres.
