Tips for Birding

The best birding here is done on the water and due to the size of the lake it is helpful to bring a spotting scope along if you have one. Aside from waterfowl, there is a path that goes along the edge of the lake with plenty of trees and brush for passerines to hide in.

Birds of Interest

Primarily ducks and geese with some occasionally more exciting waterfowl. Nesting Osprey in the summer.
