The trails at Moretown Town Forest are moderately technical and feature many rocks, roots, and rolldowns. A small loop is possible near the elementary school. The spur trail, Ancient Apple, can be damp and is often an adventure. A popular loop includes a warm-up climb on Moretown Mountain Road and South Hill Road to Pine Needle Path back to the bottom.
