Greenbrier Nature Center is a nonprofit organization that offers environmental education and conservation programs to the public. The Green Briar Nature Center is a sanctuary of peace and beauty throughout the seasons. It is located on the shores of Smiling Pool and adjacent to the famous Briar Patch of Thornton Burgess’s stories.
Green Briar is also the home to the Dr. Shirley G. Cross Wildflower Garden along with many small resident animals.
