Heartbreak Road Marshes is a wetland area located in Ipswich. The marshes provide important ecological services, such as water filtration, flood control, and carbon sequestration. The marshes are accessible by a trail that runs along Heartbreak Road, a historic road that dates back to the 17th century. The road was named after a tragic love story involving two young colonists who eloped and drowned in the marshes.
The marshes adjacent to Heartbreak Road are south of Argilla Road on Heartbreak Road.
