At the end of Legacy Point is a pond that hosts decent numbers of waterfowl in winter and migratory shorebirds in spring and fall. Viewing can be done from the car or from the small grassy area next to the road.
There are no trails at this hotspot but are several at Oso Creek Park which borders the Southeast side of the pond and at times, can allow better viewing
