Tips for Birding

There is often a small flock of geese right near the bridge and in times of low water there is exposed shoreline that can host shorebirds. Birding by canoe or kayak can be productive.

Spanning 151 acres, this magnificent recreational property lines both banks of the beautiful Indian River. Featuring two regulation size softball diamonds and two soccer pitches. Naturalists can enjoy bird-watching, hiking or just strolling through the massive cedars which bring the park to life year-round. Canoeing, kayaking and swimming opportunities are available to residents but are unsupervised and for use at one's own risk.
