About this Location

The Cocheco River Reservoir was created by a dam on the Cocheco River. The reservoir is used for recreation, such as kayaking and fishing, and hydroelectric power generation. The Cocheco River is a tributary of the Piscataqua River and flows through several towns in Strafford County. 

Main Street crosses the south end of the reservoir. There is parking adjacent to the river.
