Briggs Inlet is a small waterway that connects the North River to the Atlantic Ocean in Scituate. It is named after Thomas Briggs, an early settler who owned land near the inlet. The inlet is a popular spot for boating, fishing, and birdwatching, as it offers scenic views of the marshes and the ocean.
Briggs Inlet is on Briggs Harbor west of Minot Beach.
