This is a good location for waterfowl.
This is a privately owned wetland restoration project. There are four wetland ponds visible on the west side of the highway covering about a quarter of one mile along the highway. There are no shoulders on this highway. At the southern end, there is a culvert and driveway to a gate. The southernmost pond is visible here, but it seems to have the fewest number of birds. Fortunately, this highway normally is lightly traveled.
