The hill just north of Eiði village. The hill is geologically interesting, as this was one of the first sites where evidence for ice ages were found (or at least interpreted as traces after prehistoric ice covers). The uppermost part of the hill was probably a "nunatak" (not covered by the ice)..One of the few sites in the Faroes where summer grazing by sheep has been limited.during many years. There are no particular paths in the area, but many steep slopes and rock sides. Do not enter the area during poor visibility.
Parking in the village by the football stadion.
