Weatherhead Hollow Pond has no houses on its shore, making it feel very secluded and natural. The pond is a popular place for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. The pond is also home to many birds and wildlife, such as ducks, geese, herons, beavers, and otters. The pond has a boat launch at the southern end, where you can access the water and enjoy the scenic views of the rolling fields and mountains of the hollow. Weatherhead Hollow Pond is a great destination for anyone who loves nature and tranquility.
Weatherhead Hollow Pond (33 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
