Sunset Lake covers 25 acres of land. It is famous for its floating bridge, the only one of its kind in the east, that spans across the lake and allows visitors to drive or walk over it. The lake is surrounded by hardwood forests that create stunning scenery, especially in the fall when the leaves change color.
Sunset Lake (25 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
