Shadow Lake is a natural freshwater lake with an area of about 210 acres. It is one of the three lakes in the town, along with Lake Parker and Daniel's Pond. It has a public boat launch, a public swim beach, and a lake association that works to preserve and promote the lake's ecology and water quality.
Shadow Lake (210 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
