Rood Pond covers an area of 23 acres and has a maximum depth of 52 feet. The pond is popular for fishing, kayaking, and camping. The pond has a concrete plank ramp for boat launching and a universal shore fishing platform. There is a summer restroom and a parking lot for trailers.
