About this Location

Marshfield Reservoir, also known as Molly's Falls Pond, was created by a dam on Molly's Brook in the 1920s and covers 411 acres of land. The reservoir is surrounded by a 1,064-acre Molly's Falls State Park that offers boating, fishing, swimming, and camping opportunities. The state park is mostly undeveloped and preserves the area's natural beauty and wildlife habitat. The reservoir and the state park are named after Molly, a Native American maiden who lived near the falls on Molly's Brook.

Marshfield Reservoir (397 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
