Lake Mitchell is a private lake that is home to the Lake Mitchell Trout Club. The club is a membership-based organization that offers fishing, boating, camping, and other recreational activities for its members and guests. The lake is surrounded by hills and forests and has a boat launch, a dock, a picnic area, and a clubhouse. 

Lake Mitchell (28 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
