About this Location

Cutter Pond is a small lake with an area of 16 acres. It is also known as Lotus Lake, and it is one of the sources of the Lake Champlain watershed. The pond is surrounded by more than 300 acres of diverse habitat, including forests, fields, wetlands, and trails. The pond is the location of the Lotus Lake Day Camp, which was established in 1952 and offers outdoor activities for children ages 5-14. The camp is run by the Martin family, who have owned the land since the 1830s.
