Cranberry Pond is part of the Connecticut River watershed and is fed by Cranberry Brook, a tributary of the Mill River. The pond is popular for fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing. The pond is part of the Sunderland Wildlife Management Area, which is managed by the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. The area is open to the public for recreation and education. There are trails around the pond.

Cranberry Pond is located in Mount Toby State Forest east of Long Plain Road (MA-63).
