The wetland is the hotspot for waterfowl, waders, and shoreline birds

The address for this park is 84 W. 10th Street Hawarden, IA 51023. There is a vehicle registration fee of $20 for an annual pass and $5 for a day pass. Bathrooms are closed late fall until roughly April 15 each year.

Barred Owl and Great Horned Owl trails will take you through the west riparian forest along the Big Sioux River. These trails are currently in the process of being added to AllTrails.
