Tips for Birding

Bird the main road and trails that loop through the forest and down into a grassy valley. The forested areas are better for migrsnt warblers, whereas the grassland areas are best for winter sparrows.

Birds of Interest

This is a hotspot for sparrows, specifically LeConte's Sparrows in the fall and winter. Rarities such as Common Ground Dove, Henslow's Sparrow, and Lazuli Bunting have been found here.
