The Georgetown-Rowley State Forest is a 1,112-acre public recreation area located in the towns of Georgetown and Rowley. The state forest offers opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and cross-country skiing. The forest is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Explore over 1,000 acres of forest for year-round activities. Hike and bike during the warmer months. After the snow falls, hit the trails for skiing and snowmobiling.

Open sunrise to sunset.

Parking is available off of Pingree Farm Road.

For hiking, follow the Bay Circuit Trail or Pingree Farm Road.
