Important Bird Area.
Just south of the town of Peterson: Take US 71 south out of Spencer for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with State Highway 10. Turn west on 10 and go about 10 miles into Peterson. Continue west through Peterson about a mile to 110th Ave. Turn south on 110th and go another mile to South River Road. This road will travel east and then south for about 4 miles to the park.
