About this Location

According to the Royalton Recorder, the newsletter of North Royalton, discussions on the Chippewa Creek Headwaters Park project was started in May of 2017 after receiving a grant a month earlier. This small wetlands area is the very start of the Chippewa Creek Watershed that eventually flows into Broadview, Brecksville, and ultimately, into the Cuyahoga River. The Park has a small pavilion with some interpretive signs about the importance of wetlands.

Viewing areas are on the north side of the wetlands in the parking areas for the YMCA and the Cuyahoga County Public Library. There is also a small pond in between the two parking areas.
