Reservoir Campground, on the north side of October Mountain Reservoir, has 47 wooded sites with picnic tables and fireplaces, as well as access to potable water and restrooms. The campground is open from mid-May to mid-October, and reservations are recommended. 

At 16,500 acres, October Mountain is the largest state forest in Massachusetts. You’ll find trails for any level of hiking experience, and you can also visit nearby Tanglewood, a popular music venue and home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
