Can be worth a short visit traveling to or from Big Bend NP. A good road for sparrows. Gray Vireo and Black-tailed Gnatcatchers have been reported on the road.

This is an unpaved but apparently maintained county road that travels through some interesting habitat that appears almost Chihuanan Desert at time, Sotol, creosote, and some ocotillo are obvious plants along the road.
