Sawcut Notch Marshes cover about 40 acres of land. The marshes are part of the Neponset River watershed and provide important ecological functions such as water quality improvement, flood control, and wildlife habitat. Sawcut Notch Marshes is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and is open to the public year-round.

Sawcut Notch Marshes are located in the northeast corner of the Blue Hills Reservation on the Sawcut Notch Path trail.
