Birders who carefully keep their bird records by the county will want to be aware of the location of the Massachusetts-New Hampshire state line. The northern portion of Tuxbury Pond is in New Hampshire, the southern portion is in Massachusetts.

Tuxbury Pond covers an area of about 50 acres and has a maximum depth of 12 feet. The pond is fed by several streams and drains into the Merrimack River. Tuxbury Pond is a popular destination for fishing, boating, swimming, and wildlife viewing. 

Kimball Road, Newton Road, and Powwow Cove Lane are adjacent to Tuxbury Pond in Massachusetts.
