While the park does not regularly host any species of state or countywide significance, it's geographic position of jutting into the Narragansett Bay has led to this hotspot hosting some interesting rarities such as Caspian Tern and Franklin's Gull.
Conimicut Point Park is managed by the city of Warwick. The park offers scenic views of the Narragansett Bay and Conimicut Lighthouse. Most of the park is surrounded by sandy shoreline, with a small amount of riprap south of Conimicut Point. The park has a play ground, a picnic area, and several benches. There is a bathroom house at the park, however, it is usually (if not always) locked. During the summer months portable outhouse restrooms are available, however, in the winter months there are no restrooms available at the park. RIPTA bus services have a stop approximately 1 mile away from this hotspot.
