The Alexandra Dawson Conservation Area is a 57-acre natural preserve established in 1999 by the Kestrel Land Trust and named after a local environmental activist who dedicated her life to protecting the Connecticut River watershed. The conservation area is open to the public from dawn to dusk, and dogs are allowed on leash.
The Dike Trail from North Lane, goes all the way to Honey Pot (at the Cemetery Road intersection) and then to MA-9.
