About this Location

Roberts Meadow Reservoir was created in 1909 by damming the Roberts Meadow Brook, a tributary of the Mill River. The reservoir covers an area of about 30 acres and has a capacity of 240 million gallons. The reservoir is used for drinking water supply, recreation, and wildlife habitat. The reservoir is surrounded by forested hills and has views of the nearby Mount Holyoke Range. The reservoir is open to the public for fishing, boating, and hiking. Several trails lead to the reservoir from the surrounding roads and neighborhoods.
