The botanical gardens are only open during Visitor Center hours.
But the garden can still be birded from outside looking through the fence and still draws in many species.
The Texas Botanical Gardens are behind the Goldthwaite Visitors Center.
The gardens are lovely with nice granite gravel pathways, lots of water features and interesting signage.
They are in a fenced enclosure and are not open except during Visitor Center hours.
Restrooms will only be available when the visitor center is open.
