Orme Park

Orme Park

Tips for Birding

Park along Brookridge Drive NE. While it is fairly unremarkable in the summer and winter, this small park comes alive with migrating warblers in the spring and fall. All areas of the park have the possibility to be active, but be sure to watch low-lying shrubs near the stream as well as stream banks for incredible views of warblers and thrushes.

Birds of Interest

Prothonotary Warbler seems to be relatively reliable here in early-mid April. This park has the possibility to produce incredible numbers of Hooded Warblers in the fall. Otherwise, this park has most of the typical migrating songbirds in Atlanta.
