There is parking near a power substation on Old Columbus Road.

The only viewing of the marsh is from the Coonpath Road bridge.

The Coonpath Road Pooled Wetland Mitigation Area, 21.65 acres, was created to replace 8.91 acres of wetland habitats filled during the construction of the Lancaster Bypass and 2.27 acres of wetlands filled during the construction of a US-33 interchange.
