Highway 402 out of Hardin. Mudflats accessible when lake level is winter pool. Pull off and walk down hill to access mudflats. Pirates Cove is a private subdivision. If entering Pirates Cove please be mindful of private property. 
Public boat ramp available off 402 to bird and access area by boat when water levels allow.
