Aloha State Park is set along the northeast shore of Mullett Lake near the Straits of Mackinac on the northern tip of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. It’s home to a modern campground, a boating access site, a designated swim beach, and a protected boat basin where campers can leave their boats during their stay.
The lake is Michigan’s fourth-largest inland lake and the central point for the Inland Waterway, a chain of rivers and lakes that offers 38 miles of boating and paddling.
The 70-mile North Eastern State Trail, which runs from Alpena to Mackinaw City, borders the park and intersects with the North Central and North Western state trails.
The AllTrails website has a description and map of a hike at Aloha State Park.
